At Mito Shoja, the venue for the Zazen sessions (held on the first Sunday of every month) currently held in the main hall has become too small, so construction of a new Zen training center has begun, with completion scheduled for the spring of the year after next.
We hope to provide a place for as many people as possible to experience a world of silence away from everyday life through zazen, and also as a training ground for those aspiring to become monks.
